(STEM) HYDRAULICS
Due 2/10
You must create a homemade hydraulic lift. It must lift a set ratio amount of mas, this ratio must be stated and will be tested in class. The ratio must be written correctly on the device (please use a sticker or tape to write on). On the day of the presentation you must have the following
Tutoring is mandatory
Unexcused absences will result in you being dropped from the class.
All building must be done in the classroom to asure that the student is the one doing the work.
Week 1: What is a hydrolic lift and how do they work
Week 2: building
Week 3: Testing and paper
Week 4: Final display with questions.

- a working model of a hydraulic lift
- a diagram of your project along with the calculations needed to build your project.

(Physics) Newton
We will be reviewing newtonian physics each week. A short lesson along with class work and possible homework will be given in each class. The class will run 4 weeks and conclude with a test. The grade you need to get on the test will be dependent on the grade you received last semester. (The lower your semester grade the higher your test grade will need to be.)
Unexcused absences will result in you being dropped from the class.
