Vector and Trig.

The first set of videos below are review for calculating using trig.

The last video is how to calculate 2 vectors together, You will want to take notes on the last video! (you may see it again)

Pythagorean Theorem
Trig Review
Adding 2 Vectors

Try it out:

Try solving this problem:

Bill is playing football, he is going to run 15 yards at a 60 degrees.  Then turns 15 degrees to his left (Draw it out, if he's running at 60 degrees then turns 15 degrees to his left he is now at running at 75 degrees) after that he will run 10 yards and catch the ball.  Sam knows this play. What path (resultant) should sam run (magnitude and direction) to intercept Bill?

Did you get it? double check your answer at Hyperphysics you can input your numbers there. BEWARE!! Do not rely on the program. You can't use it during a test, learn how it works so you can recreate the answer.
Move on to the Notation and Numbers section.
